Susie Wild
Freelance Journalist extraordinaire
Thanks for visiting my website. I am a freelance journalist with six years
of experience writing for students and young people including three years working as a channel editor/journalist for national
youth advice site, TheSite.org and one year of regular contributions as a freelance journalist for The Guardian.
I currently edit Swansea's bi-monthly arts magazine Platform which has featured interviews with author Niall Griffiths, The Cave's lead singer Dai Godwin and the Grand Dame of Art, Glenys
Cour. My main areas of specialism and interest are art, literature, theatre and music (especially for
South Wales). I also have a sound knowledge base and experience of writing on the following areas: mental health
(especially self harm, depression and anxiety); festivals; careers, education, FE and HE students; and relationships (family,
friends, and couples). I have also written and edited content across a broad range of issues affecting 14-25 year olds including
drugs and alcohol; sex, sexuality, STIs, pregnancy and contraception; legal issues; money and debt; volunteering; going out;
housing; Ibiza; health and fitness; fashion, beauty and music.

I'm mostly hating...
The lack of daylight, having a cold, the PussyCat Dolls.
... but I'm loving
My silver boots, aftershow parties, the new licensing laws, and my imminent
escape to Thailand for a well earned holiday.
